I seem forget to mention about website on how to recognition on movie through Netflix’s streaming. All, you need to look up on any movie on itself page and find the details on sidebar. Such as you see under DVD, Blu-Ray and now, Streaming. Hope that help and enjoy on your computer!

Netflix Stream with Subtitle Listing

Here is the listing that I have found from Netflix on my Wii. That’s only so far, I have surfing around on my spare time. That’s more than 80 movies with subtitle. That’s great. However, I recall on one of movie when I saw “Cool World” from yesterday on listing that doesn’t have subtitle. Until day, it appear to have subtitle.

Wow, is that me or is Netflix Stream start to grow to have Subtitle on every movies? If that’s true. Great, I’ll be so happy to waste my boredom for $8.99 a month on unlimited. Ah, that make my life much easy as hearing people does. That’s a fair price I paid for!

Netflix with Subtitle! (Finally)

I’m sure everybody been rants that Netflix never offer Closed Caption (CC) on streaming That would waste our time to wait up to 3 days via snail mail. Sure, we want to be equal as other people where we can watch instantly.

However, when I hear the news about Netflix app is available for video consoles: Nintendo Wii and Sony Playstation 3 (PS3). Rumor been told there have subtitle. I hardly believe that. So, I decide to see in my own eyes. Lucky, as the Netflix account holder, I able to make the access to see what’s like. I have been play around with several. I find it very simple setting.

After download to my friend’s PS3, I’m shocked, that is CONFIRM there is subtitle optional. So, is Wii, too!

BUT…. there are very limited like concept as iTunes that you would have difficult to find movies that offer subtitle. At least, that’s start!

I still have to complain on both PS3 and Wii version as I compare. PS3 have excellent size of subtitle but poor outline that make difficult to read where the bright area motion/object are. For Wii, text with drop-shadow make incredible to read-able. But the size is narrow small. It’s more like I want to sit closer to my HDTV until I’m blind. Oh!

UPDATE: I start to puzzle about Mac and PC if they’re also available. I check it out. Yep! See this!

iPod can be only one

New next product of Zune HD is release. It sounds like excite for everybody. For not deaf or hearing impaired, it’s unfortunately for the billion-dollar-industry like Microsoft doesn’t offer closed caption (CC) on video player.

Why… You can see that Netflix is using Microsoft’s video player as steam video that everybody wonder why we can’t get to see in CC? It won’t hurt if the business would accept to earn our money to boost 10% out of 30 million deaf customers. It could be that they’re too rich and don’t need our money for extra-being-rich.

Currently, iPod lineup is the ONLY media portable player that ever offers CC. Enjoy it when you can. I have quite amount of deaf actual own iPod, iPod Touch and iPhone, they can even enjoy over hundred of movies from iTunes with CC.

Rental movie on YouTube with Closed Caption?

I learn that Hollywood are discussing with YouTube (Google, too) on have a movie to rental and stream at online. They would charge us for 3 dollars per movie to watch. I wish I knew when it would be ready. Hey, it probably would be better than Netflix stream.

Why? Since YouTube already have one wonderful feature: Closed Caption (CC). I have big hope that they would have CC available on most movies. It should be easy to insert the CC track in there as you seen the basic tutor that show before.

If that does happen, it would make Netflix, possible, force to bring the CC to be available for everybody. Oh, there would be happy war in business.
