My favorite cartoon character has return! Yep, I’m drawing something. Well the original, I have done the sketch with pencil long time ago. I assure I start in May 2008. I draw and scan.

So far, that’s my third artwork of GizmoDuck. You can see my other artwork of GizmoDuck (second). However, I seem not able to recover the first one since I move to new site. Oh well.

For quite time, I have taken my time to color by time and time on Photoshop with pen table. I’m not well skillful with that tool well. I’m try my best. Yes, I own Wacom Bamboo. It’s not that bigger as just 3″ x 5″. Anyway, I have improve to add hologram communicate over his arm. Pretty cool? Get it look really closer good.

I was pretty motive to make Gizmoduck from Ducktale into something more serious kick-ass. Some improve and more sense, I thought over robot suit such as antenna and wheel: use gear and chain to make it actual rolling.

First, I make sketch with mechanical pencil 0.9mm, since it’s my habit to use.

Then I scan and trace in Illustrator since it make more fine line than rather use actual ink. So, I don’t have to worry about get ink mess up.

Import from Illustrator to Photoshop and color em. Volia!
