ViUDA Bistro, the restaurant is located in Buda, which is south of Austin at the historic downtown area, which is inspired me. The place make it very special place to eat.

Place
Inside, it’s cozy, mix the old building with some modern art place on wall and ceil where the windows are hang up there. My friend assuming that it’s clever because “ViUDA” is considered refers to windows and widow. I wasn’t sure if that quite right. However, I enjoy spend time to sit down and look around in the room.

Service
The hosting is very friendly and suddenly greeting in American Sign Language (ASL). I feel like we’re in for business to order something from the waitresses who are some familiar with ASL. No need to speed up, the fast you get, you might lose taste.

Menus
I see lot of good listing such as steak and paste in unique visual on meals. Most are full of surprise. Yet, I’m in mood for good steak. It’s very tasty; I can tell they’re so fresh. Yet, they’re little expensive, I would say it’s $$$ out of $$$$$. Hey, there have Yak steak, it’s most expensive from I seen so far. I’ll try when I come back again.

Overall
I’ll come back again. I haven’t get chance to meet deaf chefs. They’re so busy to cook for many customers. Only the quite time I had with the hosting and the owner. They’re also helpful when we weren’t familiar on some meals on what or how we suppose to eat. They’re available open on most weekend on evening. Check their video in ASL! Sorry, no closed caption!

How to qualify…

First, I think it’s great. Usually, there are many FREE episodes enough to try out before purchase whole season. It’s very big POSITIVE!

Second, it’s non-misled as you can see label said that some, not all episode have CC. That tells so well!

Third, I hope for more available by end of this year. With search tool, it would make much easy for us to find. That’s same concept as Power Search on movie. Why not on TV shows? Keep eyes on iTunes…

For quite time, I start to concern on how people are start to call me. There is a major problem with Sorenson compatible with different video relay service. It’s about the how the caller ID appears toward Sorenson VP200.

You see, when I test it by call from my Z4 to my VP200. You can see how wrong when it appear on the display from the history call listing. What’s wrong? It doesn’t appear as the local number. It’s only ip-address. When anyone, like me on VP200, tried make the redial from either history call listing or contact listing after add my “caller id”. It will dial as Ip-address instead the actual local number. It ends up bringing you to where you would only leave the video-message. It will NOT ringing to my Z4 from iPod or laptop.

What has hassle me is, that I have to remind everybody to make sure they add my Caller ID and then edit to change from Ip-address to my local number. It’s more work for them to do than simple add from the history call listing.

I find it un-compatible between videophone Service Company to videophone Service Company. They’re not well equal when someone miss the call and redial as number instead being different direct. I could blame to Sorenson.

So, I leave the feedback to ZVRS to be aware about my issues. I hope to see every videophone service to be equal on quality on video and satisfactory to call like every telephone Landlines/wireless Company does.

UPDATE: It also affect on Purple P3, too. I gave the feedback to Purple Staff, too.

However… There is something is wrong with Netflix. The subtitle appears to be error. I think it act dumb on certain character key. I think that’s okay.

No, it’s not okay… I’m not really happy when I found out that individual TV series claim, it have Subtitle available but it’s not. For example, Bones have subtitle available, however, one of episode (1st Season, Episode 4) isn’t available to provide the subtitle at all. What given?

Reason why it won’t happen. Because of simple follow up:

• Not everybody own HDTV
• High-end high-speed is too expensive for now
• Sorenson might not have fund enough to create new one. Thank to FCC’s cut
• It have no flash signaler or telephone jack port, it’s pointless

Stop believe in VP-300 while the current is fine for EVERYBODY.

If you want what you actual saw the picture. You would have to pay $599 to own and pay $25/month to use the service to call. Here the full details…

My friend give an example on why the antenna from iPhone 4′s cause the problem with signal being drop few bars. As you can see the diagnostic tester appear the few omh different how it make our natural volt body is.

Simple solution, get case to cover where skin will not make contact against the antenna. Thank neopc007!

Nobody know waterfall, more like just few location does know. I’m disappointment, nobody tell me there is frickin natural waterfall in Fort Worth behind several man-make waterfall which is lame which I saw from somewhere from Richardson, TX. Now, that’s secret spot, really awesome. Well, now… It’s no longer secret. I’m telling you! It’s location in Westworth Village, closer to Air Force base.

I know it’s not actual Trinty River that people would mistook. It’s actual Farmer’s Branch Creek. There is small park-a-lot spot for anybody to park there. Don’t come during rain because of no pavement, it would be terrible and muddy for your vehicle to drag there, unless you own monster truck. Then you walk pretty much as 10 minutes, when you go slowly in heat day. There are pretty scene and fresh nice cement path for people to jogging. You would see branch of goats, and sometime, you would see chicken around there. I wish it’s wild but it’s belonged to ranches.

Anyway, here the story, from what I read the other blog said that it once being private property that nobody know but the owner who knew. It slow spread in quiet years. Until someone finally make fund and open city’s public park for anybody make access to see pretty spot. Thank to George Shannon!

However, I would like to share my brief experience that I live in the apartment. Before my roommate and I move in, we request to be sure they have the visual smoke alarm install. So, they did install 4 detectors with green LED light: 2 in bedrooms, one in living room and one in hall room. I was glad that system works out well for us.

THE INCIDENT
Until few months ago, there was an incident on next unit building; there was fire or accident that turn the alert and spread to other building to aware of warning. It was a late morning as we both still up. At first, we weren’t aware of the alert. Thank to my best friend, who able to hear the detector turn pretty loud as I barely can hear it. My roommate doesn’t hear anything at all. For quite time, the alert has finally stopped. Nothing serious has happen; there was just a minor incident. We’re glad that doesn’t damage well.

Suddenly, I realize there was no strobe, just sound. Be understand, there are 2 separate alarm system, one detector alert for inside house and another detector is for warning that there is fire/smoke from other building. I start being concern on how I can know if the visual smoke alarm is work properly.

ISSUES WITH SL177
At first, I thought I would need to make test to make sure to test. It’s normally that everybody should check to test for every month to make sure it works. Its very recommend from fire depart. Yet, I DO NOT see the test button around on visual smoke alarm. I have to make a quick research to find out what kind model that I thought I would find the instruction booklet on tell me how to push the test button. By the way, the model called SL177 from First Alert.

It tells me that visual smoke alarm does have the test button and I still do not see it! Yet the booklet did mention that it does have one… from the main detector that controls the all detectors. I puzzled and decide to make a request from apartment office to have them test our visual smoke detector. I was hope if they know what to do that we don’t. We need to make sure it’s work properly, even after the incident; it doesn’t appear the signal for us.

We, my roommate and I was upset that it’s third time within near 3 months, we had to make request from apartment office until they finally come and check to test the detector. Turn out; there is main detector miss!!! While that we have all four are just “sibling”. That’s why it needs the main one that control all to test. They remove one and install the correct detector only in hall room. It does have test button to click to hold for 5-second and it have AMAZING strobe in every rooms. We could be blind! That’s great.

LESSON HAS LEARN
Apartment staffs make their mistake by install all “sibling” visual smoke alarm without the main one. They may be new with detector but they didn’t read the instruction careful. It’s also our responsible; include you, to test if it’s work and report to apartment office if it doesn’t work.
