Thought I want to tell something when I receive news about Purple being bust by Federal. It seem that unknown author who spread the news on that weblog called &#8220;<a href="http://purpledead.blogspot.com/">PurpleDead</a>&#8220;. That person sound like being glad about it. Probably, he or she is such an angry person as I think of. Anyway, I look up on something that I feel something is funny going on.</p>
<ol>
<li>Name of Weblog is &#8220;PurpleDead&#8221;, I think that&#8217;s immature and pointless.</li>
<li>That weblog have only one and probably will never again.</li>
<li>Their profile doesn&#8217;t reveal, probably work for Sorenson, hard-cord fan of SVRS, etc.</li>
<li>The source given by Biz.Yahoo have no actual reference or original on whom report. (okay, maybe I don&#8217;t know that part)</li>
<li>The only true I know about Purple, they&#8217;re not bankrupt. Not yet, because there is no confirm at moment.</li>
</ol>
<p>Don&#8217;t be jumpy until we have the actual fact information about Purple. Don&#8217;t be sorry for them, just do whatever you like their service or not. I only like them because I was able to use on my MacBook to use VRS with iChat.</p>

But iPhone isn’t great idea to place under your bed because anyone probably would smash the whole glasses plate. No fear, there is awesome accessories for iPhone. It also works with iPod Touch if you have one.</p>
<p>A friend of mine, show me that there is cool speaker system for iPhone. Surprise, it comes with bed shaker with few awesome features that does something with iPhone. It’s pretty expensive but it’s probably different and much worth in part of style in bedroom than dull Sonic Alert thing. It got cool display than any alarm clock with bed shaker.</p>
<p>I find it weird that it come with sound along the bed shaker, that&#8217;s something for hearing to get. For myself, I’m not sure during some reason on cost and some features to meet my need. Well, you can check it out and see if that suit for you. Cheer!</p>

ZVRS was first introduce (unsure who claim but my own witness) <a href="http://www.zvrs.com/z-series/z4">Z4</a> the software that support both Mac and PC. I thought that would be great. I have been await for kind software where I could use and call direct from my MacBook.</p>
<p><span id="more-1212"></span>Yet, there is <a href="http://www.sprintrelay.com/">Sprint Relay</a> does offer software compatible for Mac and PC. I start to notice both are similar engineer software on how to use. I haven’t download when ZVRS was first introduce. This time, I was able to download from Sprint Relay’s site. And I found the source on where it comes from. It’s <a href="<a href="http://www.mirial.com/products/Mirial_Softphone_HD.html">Mirial Softphone</a>&#8220;>Mirial Softphone</a>.</p>
<p>Look like Mirial have development, well, smart application that can be use both Mac and PC to make the video conferencing. It makes sense because it can be compatible with 4G wireless. What&#8217;s smart thing about Sprint, they would able to sell 4G modem to use for either PC or Mac laptop. It&#8217;s match in heaven to use anywhere.</p>
<p>» Source: <a href="http://www.mirial.com">Mirial &#8211; VVoIP solution and HD video conferencing over IP, 3G and IMS</a></p>
<p>UPDATE 02.23.10 9:29 AM: <a href="http://www.twitter.com/williebike">@williebike</a> CSDVRS/ZVRS provides the technical solution to couple different VRS companies- and Sprint is one of them.</p>

It’s true Typing Relay Service for smartphone that’s what I look for. I installed on my iPod Touch, it also work, too, only when you’re connect to Wi-Fi while iPhone can be anywhere with coverage available.</p>
<p><a href="http://illustrator.blog-alloon.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/photo-2.jpg" rel="lightbox[1199]"><img src="http://illustrator.blog-alloon.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/photo-2-133x200.jpg" alt="" title="IP-Relay Dialing" width="133" height="200" class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-1201" /></a>What I like about thing on IP-Relay app, it have friendly keypad just like it give you an experience to call on your own instead use AOL Instant Messaging. Heck, it make quick to dial up. It also went along with current contact on what you have in your iPhone or iPod Touch.</p>
<p>When I dial, it seems obviously understood by identity over my device. Of course, <a href="http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/dro/numbering_and_e911_for_vrs_ip.html">it requires us to register by FCC for E911</a>. It went over the web browser to input my information, it’s base on who you are, your email and your resident address. After done for short minutes and approve. It instantly gives me own 10-digit numbers. That’s quick than I thought.</p>
<p><span id="more-1199"></span>After finish register, I went back and open IP-Relay and dial someone who is hearing, it being identity without me to log in. I think it’s probably made much easy and hassle-free when I want to make quick call without lose the save on login. It quick acknowledges my device’s ID.</p>
<p>The agent typing is the closer as I experience at online, you don’t even need put GA, because it auto done for us after hit the ENTER. It give the individual line to know which is mine and their. It’s friendly visual. For few minutes of conversation, I find it something to complain that app won’t allow us to change to landscape, because it would make easy to have wide virtual keyboard on display, because the standup is somewhere difficult to typing like I have been told in begin on <a href="http://illustrator.blog-alloon.com/archives/171">iPhone’s first introduce</a>.</p>
<p>Anyway, when I want to finish the conversation, I don’t need to typing “SKSK”, you just simple press “Hangup”, it will auto send SKSK to agent. It will asked me if I want to storage the conversation, you would click to copy and then paste to the Note app.</p>
<p>Allover, I think it’s great, there are quite amount of deaf I knew, own iPhone would be happy to have IP-relay app. Did I mention, it’s free?</p>
<p><strong>PRO</strong><br />
• Friendly dial keypad include the special instruction note<br />
• Contact is support<br />
• View on History of dialed calls<br />
• GA auto include after submit the message<br />
• Hang up auto send SKSK</p>
<p><strong>CON</strong><br />
• Landscape virtual keyboard not support<br />
<del datetime="2010-02-18T17:58:26+00:00">• No font resize</del><br />
• Not ideal to make call while on move during data loss<br />
• Use copy and paste the conversation to notepad instead its own<br />
• While on call, it needs to protect from have accident press button to return the front</p>
<p><strong>UPDATE 11:58am CST:</strong> Seem that IP-Relay app on iTunes have been disappear on search. Only it work when I had to go to <a href="http://appshopper.com/utilities/ip-relay">website</a> and click, it open iTunes to find right one for me.</p>
<p><strong>UPDATE 10:53pm CST:</strong> 10-digit isn&#8217;t work, I give that number to hearing to have them call me. That when I open IP-Relay on my iPod Touch. I don&#8217;t see incoming pop-up on the dispay. That sucks. Maybe it work on iPhone. Did anyone have it work?</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/merlin/3192763046/"><img src="http://illustrator.blog-alloon.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/cc_bar_restaurant.jpg" alt="" title="Closed Caption at restaurants and bars" width="253" height="204" class="alignright size-full wp-image-1162" /></a>New law would be required to have Closed Caption (CC) in public such as bars and restaurants. I think that would be great. It&#8217;s not only for deaf but also for in noise rooms where full of people are talk too loud.</p>
<blockquote><p>All bars and restaurants with TVs would be required to show closed captioning under legislation quickly working its way through a Senate committee.</p>
<p>But the measure hit a snag Thursday on its way out of the Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee.</p>
<p>The bill is aimed at making it easier for deaf people to watch programs in bars and restaurants. Though committee members all said they liked the bill in principle, some thought it might be overkill to subject every patron to the text running across the bottom of each screen.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.marylandreporter.com/page5505157.aspx">Read the rest of article&#8230;</a></p></blockquote>
<p><span id="more-1163"></span>Current, you can always be kind to the waitress or server to turn CC on while you can enjoy watch something happen in the world. I have done it several time. Rarely, there was difficult for people who are unfamiliar on how to set the CC from the features. Bummer, all brand television has weird CC to turn on. Should have CC on remote to notice easy.</p>
<p>For some thoughtful, there are certainly people that I have hear or know that been complain, when CC appear to block in certain area. I think it&#8217;s better if they should set the transparent background to meet their satisfactory. Every HDTV with ATSC is always trend come with it. Of course, it causes the problem with cable box that DOESN&#8217;T offer the optional. I think the new FCC law that should told to every cable box from the cable company would need to re-mod to digital CC to meet.</p>
<p><em>Thank Miss-Delectable!</em></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Everybody suppose know that SDH stand for Subtitle for Deaf and Hard of Hearing appear on DVD which was first believe be introduce from Universal Studio. That DVD movie is from TriStar Picture, own by Sony Entertainment, does support SDH. But don&#8217;t let the menus or display confuse you when you saw the subtitle. For brief time, I can see it&#8217;s similar from I saw first one on Blu-Ray movie. That&#8217;s how it got me think of that. But surprise, it&#8217;s not only Blu-Ray but also on DVD.<br />
<span id="more-1151"></span><br />
Their SDH make you think it&#8217;s CC but it&#8217;s actual SDH during the block with black background like CC. Only, different that&#8217;s it block on certainly area that I could complain. And it&#8217;s pretty bigger font that I could read-able which excellent for people with low visual. I assure it&#8217;s good thing. Suppose, its new format in market from Sony Entertainment this time and after.</p>
<p>Here is the screenshot that give example on what it look like.</p>
<p><img src="http://illustrator.blog-alloon.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/9d_subtitle.jpg" alt="" title="District 9 - Subtitle" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1152" /><br />
Select ENGLISH and it appear in yellow font without block background.</p>
<p><img src="http://illustrator.blog-alloon.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/9d_sdh.jpg" alt="" title="District 9 - SDH" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1153" />Select ENGLISH SDH, it appears in alike classic CC style with bigger font. It also let you aware on who person speak.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img src="http://illustrator.blog-alloon.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/rebox_disney.jpg" alt="Disney and Red Box" title="Disney and Red Box" width="300" height="170" class="alignright size-full wp-image-1131" />I was excite to watch movie &#8220;Up&#8221; by Disney. I went to to Redbox as you know it&#8217;s cheap, only a buck by charge with credit card. Went to home and put in my DVD player and start to watch.</p>
<p>I was except to get on DVD menus like usually I would go. There is none, probably it&#8217;s Disney, I thought they protect. I turn subtitle on but it doesn&#8217;t have available. I thought, okay, I&#8217;m sure there is Closed Caption (CC) for a sure as HDTV is turn CC on with S-video cable plugged in.<br />
<span id="more-1129"></span><br />
Guess what? No CC has appear for few minutes, I thought that&#8217;s something very wrong. I tested on my laptop as I thought it would be no wrong. I realize the label after pop in the DVD slot, it said &#8220;UP_RENTAL&#8221;. I&#8217;m unfamiliar and thought they set the new version.</p>
<p>So, I went on and google about if there is common problem. I found there is, from the redbox&#8217;s weblog where I saw most <a href="http://blog.redbox.com/redblog/2009/11/up.html">comments</a>, most are angry and disappointment.</p>
<p><a href="http://illustrator.blog-alloon.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/disneyrentalDVD.jpg" rel="lightbox[1129]"><img src="http://illustrator.blog-alloon.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/disneyrentalDVD-186x200.jpg" alt="No Closed Caption on UP (Rental DVD version)" title="No Closed Caption on UP (Rental DVD version)" width="186" height="200" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1130" /></a></p>
<p>We need to let Disney to aware about it. I&#8217;m mad! There is more from other weblog, that <a href="http://thumpaflash.livejournal.com/20799.html">person have an rants opinion</a> about this movie and studio and whatever.</p>
