I had Powerbook 3G, Pismo model since 2001. It failed like 2 years ago which it have Sound / AC Power Input Board problem as it cannot recharge or even power-up. I order the new one from eBay and replace it by myself. But it wouldn’t able to work properly. I couldn’t figure out what’s wrong. I give up and leave it in duct while I was busy abuse my iBook for short year then MacBook, which I current own it. Until few weeks ago, I decided it was good time to get my Pismo repair to find out what’s really wrong. I use third-party from Powerbook Media which seem good cost. I shipped to there and later, found out that it wasn’t logic board, it was first place I thought. It’s only need hard driver replace. Good thing, it was crap 12GB HDD into 112GB HDD. Awesome, it finally running great as just the basic to use such as surf over Internet. But video don’t running that well. Who care! Powerbook 3G live!!! (Read more…)
If you’re think about get iPod Classic or Nano instead iPod Touch or iPhone. But you’re not sure about closed caption (CC) support. I’m show the proof that both lately iPod model that does support CC and does appear on the display. Text size is somewhere small but fair to read. Let saying it’s not too bad for anyone with good visual. It’s not only for deaf but for hearing, which is ideal, to watch in the noise level area.
Take note, the movie with closed caption is available from iTunes with Power Search. So far, I checked there is 94 movies with CC on list. I brought Italian Job (1969) that support CC that can be view on iTunes or iPod the lately model.
Boy, I’m wrong. HOVRS MVP does come with browser, powered by Opera. It’s really nice and lightweight than VPAD. I have to saying it’s impressive as wireless portable videophone.
I thought of how interest on Video Relay Service (VRS), any interpreter, they’re able to interpret anything no matter what the incoming caller told. That include the awkward communicate as the hearing thought of second person to tell the outcoming caller such as “Tell him, we are blah blah blah”. Normally, it had been same issues since TRS (Text Relay Service).
I met Laura Vandervoort, who play as Kara or Supergirl from Smallville (television series), at Wizard World Expo at Arlington, TX from November 2007. She is awesome.
