1 pound bag of black-eyed pea
32 oz chicken broth
1 whole red onion
3 strips bacons
1 Habanero chili
Prepare to soak black-eyed pea overnight, pour out of black-eye bag into 4-quart pot with filled of 2-quart water for 6-8 hours.
Drain black-eyed pea and pour 32 oz chicken broth, 1 whole red onion in diced, 3 strips bacons in sliced and chop Habanero chili in half in pot.
Turn stove on HIGH heat for 5 minutes to bring whole heat in the pot. Then turn into LOW heat with cover and let it cook for 3 hours. It’s necessary to stir for once each hour.
